What is included

File review: The model is checked for obvious geometry, wall-thickness, support, orientation, scaling, and assembly concerns that could affect the result.
Material recommendation: Material is matched to the intended use, environment, heat exposure, flexibility, appearance, and handling requirements.
Slicing and setup: Layer height, walls, infill, orientation, supports, color changes, and printer selection are prepared for the specific part rather than accepted blindly from default settings.
Production and inspection: The print is monitored, removed, cleaned as agreed, and inspected before pickup or shipping.
Repeat orders: Once an approved setup exists, future quantities can usually be produced more efficiently, subject to material availability and scheduling.

Preferred file formats

STL and 3MF Preferred

STL and 3MF are preferred for print-ready work. STEP, OBJ, and other model formats can be reviewed, but may require conversion or additional preparation. Include any assembly instructions, target dimensions, and orientation requirements supplied by the designer.

What to include

The file and the source or license that permits you to reproduce it.
The exact finished size or one dimension that must be held.
Quantity and desired completion date.
How and where the part will be used.
Preferred color, material, finish, and any visible surfaces that matter most.
Whether the pieces must fit, thread, snap, or assemble with something else.

File rights

Only Files You Have the Right to Reproduce

Only submit files you created, purchased with the appropriate production rights, or otherwise have permission to reproduce. KirkWorks3D will not knowingly produce unauthorized copies of copyrighted or trademarked products for resale.
