KirkWorks3D is an owner-operated 3D print studio. When you call, text, or request a quote, you work directly with me — Kirk Edmunds — from the first idea through the finished print. I will help you think through size, material, color, strength, finish, and the best way to build the project before anything goes on a printer.

You do not need to understand 3D printing, own a design file, or have every detail decided. Tell me what you want the piece to do, where it will be used, and what matters most. I will help work out the next step.

  • Kirk was an absolute pleasure to meet. Communication was easy, and he was upfront and fair on pricing — no lowballing, no last-minute renegotiating. He went above and beyond by inviting me into his home to pick up the plates instead of a parking lot handoff, which made the whole exchange feel personal and trustworthy. He even walked me through his print setup — a nice touch that showed how passionate he is about what he does, and turned a simple pickup into a genuinely enjoyable conversation. The plates were exactly as described and ready to go. The whole interaction felt more like meeting a neighbor than a stranger online. Easily one of the best Marketplace transactions I've had — thanks again, Kirk!

Built in Helena. Made for People Everywhere.

KirkWorks3D combines modern multi-color and large-format 3D printing with the kind of personal service that is hard to find online. Some customers arrive with a finished file. Others arrive with a sentence and a picture. Both are welcome.

6Questions people actually ask

Short answers. If yours isn’t here, text it — no obligation.

  • Do I need a 3D file?

No. A photograph, sketch, broken part, written description, logo, or link may be enough to start. If custom modeling is required, it will be identified and quoted before design work begins.

  • How much does a custom print cost?

Price depends on print time, material, size, color changes, quantity, design work, finishing, assembly, packaging, and shipping. You receive a clear quote before production begins.

  • How long will it take?

Turnaround depends on the project, the current production schedule, material availability, and whether design or testing is required. Share a true need-by date and I will give you an honest schedule.

  • Can you make something larger than the printer?

Yes, many large pieces can be divided into sections, printed separately, joined, and finished. Seam placement, strength, assembly, and shipping are planned before approval.

  • Can you make a replacement part that broke?

Often. Send clear photographs from several angles, one reliable measurement, and an image of where the part fits. Safety-critical, heavily loaded, medical, climbing, and certain vehicle parts are not accepted.

  • Do you ship?

Yes. KirkWorks3D offers local pickup in Helena and ships finished projects across the United States. Shipping cost and method are included in the quote when applicable.
